The Strong 8K EPG is the electronic programme guide attached to your line. When it shows No information the fix is almost always on the app side: reload the guide, correct the time offset, or switch from the M3U link to the Xtream login. It takes two minutes.
What the Strong 8K EPG is
EPG stands for electronic programme guide. It is the grid of what is on now and next that sits beside the channel list. On a Strong 8K IPTV subscription the guide is delivered as an XMLTV feed alongside your playlist, so the app downloads two things: the channels, and the schedule that matches them by channel ID.
The EPG source is the same across the family: it also feeds the Strong IPTV 4K plans and the direct 8K IPTV subscription.
Why the guide shows No information
- The app never fetched it. Some players load the playlist and skip the EPG until you tap Update EPG.
- Wrong login format. An M3U link carries the channels but some apps only pull the guide through the Xtream Codes login (server, username, password).
- Time offset. The schedule is right but shifted by a few hours, so the current slot looks empty. That is the timezone setting in the app, not the feed.
- Cache. After a renewal or a device change the app keeps the old, expired guide.
Fix it in three steps
- IPTV Smarters: open the playlist, tap the three dots, choose Update EPG, wait for the bar to finish.
- TiviMate: Settings, Playlists, your playlist, EPG source, make sure the URL is filled, then Update EPG. Set Time shift to 0 first.
- MAG / Stalker portal: the guide comes with the portal; reboot the box after activation so it re-downloads.
If the guide is still blank on one channel only, that channel simply has no schedule published. Everything else will be populated.
